This is our return trip to Sandwich Inn and Suites. We felt very welcomed by the staff at the desk. The rooms are immaculate. We recommend the rooms at the back of the complex…it;s almost like you’re in the woods. The breakfast is amazing,,,,waffles, eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, juice coffee…we’ve actually never had a better “continental breakfast”. The motel is very near great places to eat. The Heritage Plantation is a must see. Just sit by the canal and watch the boats and you’ll definitely come back for more.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Everything was terrific. My negative feedback is minor: dust on exhaust vents for cleanliness rating

Other comment is more for hotel maintenance: the hooks for towels aren’t anchored well in some places and it stresses the walls and could cause damage.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

We were on the go being h little time to sit outside but if we had stayed longer, it might be nice to have outdoor chairs by the doors.

I have no hesitation in recommending the place. Thanks for a terrific first trip to Cape Cod.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

When arrived—I should have gotten the woman’s name—but she was so genuine and welcoming I thought it was her personal business. The room was delightfully neat as a pin and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities. It was just overnight, but I wished it were longer. The location is also terrific.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Nope. nailed it. :)

.Stop off on route to Cape Cod and Hertford/ Old Rhinebeck, coming back it was great value the rooms were great and the breakfast brilliant especially for what was described as continental. Staff friendly too, the room would make an ideal base for further exploration of the area with kettle and microwave. Planning to use again when next that way, also a reasonable drive from Boston, but try to avoid the rush hour.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The welcome wasn’t great. We had requested an early check in but the individual on reception wasn’t overly friendly and almost laughed at the suggestion but when she then checked our room was ready.

Complimentary internet service is extremely poor and virtually unusable. They offer an enhanced service but when we requested no one knew the cost or how to activate the enhanced service.

We requested a late checkout and they said they could extend by half an hour. To be honest, if they can’t offer a decent period of time because they are busy (which I understand) they would be better saying they couldn’t accommodate a request.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

As described previously

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

sorry to say, lady who checked me in (since I booked 4 rooms and paid for 4 rooms) seemed confused and abit rattled and snapped at me when I asked questions. I unfortunately dropped eye shadow on bathroom floor, tried to clean it and the smear was there for entire visit. The rooms were lovely, beds, pillows very comfortable, grounds extremely pretty and well kept. Certainly will return. Lovely property.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

pool to be open by mid June

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Nice, cute and clean rooms. The washer and dryer are a big plus for us. We enjoyed the breakfast but occasionally had trouble finding seating in the main rom. The only suggestion is that the bathroom light is very bright and shines into the eyes of the people sleeping in the bed directly across from the bathroom waking them up. A switch inside the bathroom to turn the lights on and off would help a lot with this problem.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Thank you for a lovely visit!
