This is definitely not what I expected, much, much more. We thought this would be a nice and clean motel type stay, but they have taken it step above. Great location, quiet setting, great and helpful staff, exceptionally clean and compfy rooms, easy access. Breakfast included a little bit of traditional New England foods. I would recommend and stay here again.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

These are very small recommendations, but I think they would improve the overall experience. I found the overhead light in my room and the vanity lighting in the bathroom a little harsh, more like office lighting. A warmer light would give a cozier feel.

The channel selection (tv) was excellent, and I was pleasantly surpised to find a complete listing! I did, however have a bit of difficulty with the remote.

Breakfast was lovely, I especially enjoyed the hot cereal and the quiche - it was a real treat!

The grounds are beautiful and the setting back from the road makes for a peaceful nights sleep.

Thank you for a very pleasant (if short) stay! I travel to & from the Vineyard several times a summer & cant always get a convenient ferry reservation - I’m very happy to have found you - joe to see you again next year!

We seemed to have a problem with operating the heat and did have a staff try to help, but it continued.We suggest written instructions for helping.Last year we had a problem with the a/c and gave up but did mention it if you look back in our file.We were there mid-Oct.and stayed in the same requested #17 room. The air was ok in the beginning but did not respond to us thereafter,so we gave-up.The temp.changed so it was okay.

We enjoyed our stay there SO MUCH! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the room was clean, bright and lovely! I tend to evaluate lodging on 3 major things: a/c coolness, WiFi, and breakfast. The room stayed very cool and the addition of the fan on the wall was reassuring that if we needed it to be cooler, that would help. The WiFi was the strongest and fastest of any lodging we have ever stayed at, and the breakfast was variety, hearty and yummy! Thank you for having a really wonderful place for us on our travels. I hope to come to Sandwich area again and will absolutely stay there!

Nice that it was next to a bar/restaurant. That is the best thing I can say. The room had an odd cooling system, the blower/controller was located in the living room area and had a very small, weak “circulation fan” I guess i would call it installed in the wall between the living and bedroom area. In theory this is supposed to suck/push the AC into

The bedroom. This did not work well at all and the bedroom stayed warm, even with the adjoining door wide open. There were 2 different exterior access doors equipped with a key card required for entry, however they did not work and the doors were always unlocked for anyone to enter. It was not a case of someone “propping” then open, the locking mechanism simply did not operate. The stairwells and hallways were extremely “musty” smelling so much so it took your breath away. I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone I know.
