We stayed 3 nights, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was

Very good but if you didn’t get there earlier the food was gone and the hot portion

of it was not replenished. Otherwise everything else was great. There was a doe and 2 little fawns meandering thru the property.

POSITIVE:

Sehr freundliches Personal; schöne Anlage wie in einem kleinen Park im Grünen; sehr großes, sauberes Zimmer mit 2x Queensize Betten, Küchenzeile (von uns bei 1 Nacht nicht benutzt) und einem für US-Verhältnisse sehr großem Badezimmer; kostenloses Parken direkt vor dem Zimmer; leckeres, für uns mehr als ausreichendes Frühstück; echtes Geschirr - eine angenehme Ausnahme in USA !! super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis; bei einem weiteren Cape Cod Besuch kommen wir gerne wieder;

POSITIVE:

Very friendly staff; beautiful area as in a small park in the countryside; very large, clean room with two queen beds, kitchenette (from us at 1 night not used) and one for US standards very large bathroom; free parking in front of the room; delicious, for us more than adequate breakfast; real crockery - a pleasant exception in the USA !! great value for money; on another Cape Cod visit we like to come back;

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The breakfast offerings have too much sugar and carbos. —- yogurt, bunt cake, filled muffins, waffles, English muffins, white bread….need more fresh fruit and no added sugar condiments. Hot beverage choice is fine. Your over all presentation is excellent - rooms, decore, landscaping, cottage atmosphere all light but sophisticated. You just need to have a smart food expert suggest some fundamental, healthy changes in menu offerings. Dont jget discouraged- this is my third stay at Inn & Suites and I feel that your place is wonderful Find!

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The weather was chilli, one of the rooms had open window and was therefore very cold. Heating worked fine, just the first impression was somewhat unwelcoming.

For cozier feeling in the rooms: some wall art, no matter how modest and small, will avoid a very spartan and “prison-cell-like” impression.

We needed a roll-in bed. It was provided (thanks), however with a cotton waffle-style blanket instead of comforter in duvet. Why? Upon request you gave us the comforter, thank you

Bedding excellent (comforters enclosed in duvet covers - great !) Euro-style, much more comfortable and hygienic than a comforter between two loose flat sheets.

Excellent cleanliness !

Bathroom - hand held shower head , with a holder so it can be either stationary or movable - please. Easy reach to all body parts, easy for the maid to clean the walls.

Bathtub was not draining water.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Aha - yes, previous page.

POSITIVE:

This was an old school motel set up that had been updated. You could get your vehicle near to the unit ideal for luggage on a road trip. It was a good experience for us being English travellers and added to the American experience.

NEGATIVE:

In the dark the vehicle entrance was not well lit. It also got a bit chilly at night and there didn’t appear to be any heating.

Very easy to reach the hotel from route US-6. Very good location to reach the pier for Martha’s Vineyard or to visit Cape Cod Bay area.

POSITIVE:

One of the finest accommodations on our 3.5-week trip through Canada and New England! It is “only” a motel but the nicest we have ever seen. It is fantastically under trees as embedded in a park, all rooms are quiet, completely renovated and equipped with modern Ikea furniture. The first room, we moved, even had a large kitchen with dining table, which was equipped with everything necessary (dishwashing liquid, sponge, kitchen roll, dish towels, salt, pepper included!). We appreciated this because of the for us less tasty American food very much, because you could finally cook food to your liking. Since we stayed longer than planned, we had to change the room. The second room was just as nice, but unfortunately without a kitchen, but also with a fridge, table, 2 armchairs and a nice balcony equipped and located on the upper floor, which was also great. Also the breakfast in this motel is compared to the usual American “plastic breakfast” a laudable exception, since at least dishes are available and there was even sausage and cheese (not just sweets). The location was perfect for exploring Cape Cod, Plymouth, Salem and even Boston (tip: just park your car in the 40 minutes away large MBTA garage in Quincy Adams and the connected metro to Boston drive, it’s easier not - the MBTA garage is perfectly signposted and has its own freeway exit, saving you the traffic hubs and expensive parking, as well as the prohibitively expensive or otherwise below-average hotels in Boston). We originally wanted to stay only 1 night and even got 5 nights at this motel - that says it all, right?

We can not think of anything …

POSITIVE:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The decor was traditional ‘New England’ style and appeared to have been recently refurbished. Our room was clean, fresh and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. There was a fully equipped kitchen, which we would have made much more use of had we been staying for more than the 2 nights. The reception and breakfast room were very pleasant and there was a good choice of food for breakfast.

NEGATIVE:

There was nothing we disliked
