ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

I discovered your motel on booking .com

After seeing you had a Kittery suites and hotel where I made reservations in about a week , I learned to call you directly to get better rates with my AARP or AAA membership .

The staff is friendly and so helpful . I loved my room and didn’t want to leave and was hoping for an available room . I have already let many of my friends know of this lovely place and look forward to staying with you again . Thank you!

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Wish the pool was open .

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The website claims that the breakfast includes a gluten free cereal option and fruit but there was nothing there that was GF except the hard boiled eggs. I was really disappointed. luckily it is just me who is GF and not the rest of my family so they at least got to have the free breakfast.

Besides this, I thought the place was really great, new, clean, and the room was spacious. I would stay here again but I will bring food for myself. You should remove the GF stuff from your website!

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

if you had fruit and GF options with breakfast like the website claimed that would have been nice.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

The sink drained slowly. The front room was hot and a fan would have been nice. We weren’t happy with the coffee because when we got it around 8 pm it was cold. Also by 9:30 in the morning it was barely dispensing. Additionally it was too strong for my husband. We went out to buy a coffee maker for our room. At the end of the day we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were good size and clean. We liked having the front room that was separate from the bedroom. And parking was great being just outside our door!

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

A fan in the front room. A pod coffee maker in the room.

POSITIVE:

The rooms were a good size & clean. The bed was comfortable. We liked having a separate sleeping space. Parking was right in front of our unit. The location was near downtown & the beach.

NEGATIVE:

There should be another air conditioner or at least a fan in the front room as it got quite warm in there. Also an in room coffee maker would be good. We went for coffee about 8 pm and it was ice cold!

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Your hotel is beautiful, the gardens and the buildings really make it quite appealing. The driveway however, is quite confusing. Perhaps a sign could be helpful to direct people coming in. Our rooms were beautifully decorated, but not as clean as one would expect. We had spider webs on our television. And tiny spots of possible stains on our pillow cases. Also, on arrival the young girl at the desk who I believe was training wasn’t prepared to check in customers. No customer service skills, just a quick check in and handing of room key. No directions given. Until I asked. Also our room was not clean/ready. So a quick trip to office and a new room was assigned. Which, the toilet eventually leaked from the bottom so the following day we were assigned another room. Your desk staff was apologetic and a discount was given. We did enjoy our stay, even with those silly problems. I believe there’s some room for improvement. If we come back to the area I would likely stay again. The location was great and the overall grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Oh and the quinoa for breakfast was AMAZING!

Guest rooms are in chalets spread round the tree shaded grounds but none too far from reception/breakfast area. At first impression the room looked a bit bare but on settling in found it had everything needed for a comfortable stay - including fridge. Large clean bathroom with sensible sized bath. Good breakfast.

Sandwich itself is very spread out and convoluted and easy to get lost in but approaching from the west on 6A there is no problem.

Handy for the Sandwich Glass museum and a good base for exploring the Cape Cod penninsular. Good value.

Choice of restaurants within 10mins drive.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We stayed in Room #23 - there is a humidity problem in that room. When we entered the room for the first time we were hit with a wall of musty smell. The sheets felt wet the entire time. The bag hanging to capture the moisture was full. We asked for another one but no one asked us if their was an issue. The room needs a dehumidifier - for the price of the room I should not have to watch my son rig up a make shift dehumidifier on a chair, with a dri-rid bag and the fan. We liked the cleanliness and other things but having allergies and dealing with the overpowering musty smell - wetness put a major damper on the experience. Feel free to call me at1 (570) 807-8866 if so inclined. A response will let me know how to proceed with my reviews.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Deal with humidity problem that makes the room smell and feel wet. Rm#23
