This was our first hotel of a 2 week New England trip & our favourite. We arrived following a long journey from the UK & after hitting the rush hour traffic getting out of Boston, tired & tense but we instantly felt ourselves relaxing.
The surroundings are lovely as are the little cottages & even through we were in the first block, we didn’t seem to get much road noise,perhaps because of the trees. We were lucky to have unseasonably warm weather so it would have been nice to have outdoor chairs as some seemed to have but as we were out both days, it wasn’t too much of an issue.
The breakfast was lovely & the dining room so quaint. All the staff we came across were very friendly & helpful.
We stayed 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer & would like to return one day & see more of Cape Cod.
