We enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The grounds were lovely. Our room was spacious, very clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The room also had one easy chair, a small dining table with 2 chairs, a dresser, a microwave and small refrigerator. My only complaint about the room - not enough convenient outlets. Even just the addition of a power strip cord would be helpful.
The guest laundry facilities were a nice amenity that we appreciated being able to use.
The breakfast was okay, but not great. The quality was good but there wasnt much variety. If you are there for just one or two mornings its probably okay. If you are staying there longer you might want to go out for breakfast a time or 2. There are several good places to get breakfast close by.
I had read some reviews on this site that complained about hearing everything in the room next door. We had people on both sides of us every night, including a baby, and heard nothing. We found the room to be quiet and peaceful.
We liked the history and the small town Cape Cod feel in Sandwich. Everything we wanted to do was an easy drive away. The town of Sandwich and Sandwich Inn and Suites made for a wonderful first time trip to the area for us.
