Nice decor. Very tastfull and relaxing. You feel like home. We had a suite with a kitchen. Big place, four people can easily sit. Big fridg, dishwasher, counter, microwave, oven. Two double beds (not queen). A small but convenient bathroom. The a/c was very loud but when were there in a very hot period so it was fine. A fan is also available. Nice windows you can open. They really did a great job in renovating the place. It was very clean ( I am a picky person). The breakfast area is also very nice. Great choice of items for the breakfast. Perfect to start the day. Landry room available (1.50 per load) Nice location. Many nice locals restaurants. Two groceries (Market Basket (old and not that convenient) but great Stop and shop. Ice cream right across the street. Delicious choices.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We stayed in room 32. It had not rained, but the entrance was wet as was the floor mat. The drain outside the door was backed up. When it rains again, the guests will have to walk through water to get to the room.

Also, the room needs 2 comfortable chairs for reading/TV watching.

There was no one at the desk at checkout, so we just left the keys and a note

POSITIVE:

Le petit déjeuner maison. Le parc arboré. La décoration des bungalows.

NEGATIVE:

Sandwich est une ville très calme où toutes les boutiques ferment à 17h et où le choix de restaurants est très limité. D'autre part, impossible de partir en ballade à pied depuis l'hôtel. Pas de trottoir et centre ville trop loin.

This is an old motel that has been modernised/updated recently. It is very clean and comfy, although rooms not soundproofed so footsteps from kids next door were easily heard. It is close to local shops and restaurants, and an easy drive to ferries for Vineyard/Nantucket etc and whale watching trip.

I have stayed at this Inn twice and its sister Inn in Kittery and experienced the identical unpleasant situation. My email exchange with the owner-operator Jon Jansen centers on the Inn's faulty billing practices, over-charging for room (twice), not correcting faulty room charge after having recognised the over-charge, and charging credit card after promissing to use it for "holding the reservation" only. Mr. Jansen considers that the guests are at fault because they fail to understand the Inn's policy. Seriously? Overbilling is the guest's fault?

Perfect place to stay on your way through or if you're keen to explore both Cape Cod and the surrounding area. Extremely clean, friendly and professional. I booked for one night en route from Vermont to Provincetown where we were just visiting a friend for a night.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Coffee available in the room was instant coffee. I don't think that is acceptable. If I come again I'll try to bring my own coffee maker.

It was a little inconvenient to put the top sheet on the bed ourselves but no big deal.

Overall we were very pleased and will not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to others.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Provide better coffee in room.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Even though the Inn offers clean (albeit Febreese-heavy) rooms, I don't expect to return to an establishement where repeated faulty billing practices are not adressed correctly, nor promptly, but require guests to write, explain, repeat and prove their point. And once the Inn recognises their "billing error", the management considers it to be caused by guests' inability to understand simple reservation policy. I suggest management effect an internal review of staff competency to manage reservations, invoicing, guest services and communications. I witnessed firsthand a group of 4 guests having a most "lively" discussion with front desk staff on the exact same topic; they made little headway and were visibly dissatisfied.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We were extremely disappointed. Our room was done only once during our stay (4 nights). We ended by asking clean and dry towels. The room smelled bad. A strong smell of humidity that could be solved by a good ventilation (not AC).

The breakfast is poor. I understand what continental breakfast means, but please, a true orange juice is easy to do (and I am not talking about some juice diluted with water). Fresh fruits on the first day, and then no more...

No clearly not the best experience.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

No next stay

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

I needed a clean and friendly environment for my family en route up to provincetown from Vermont. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have booked. I didn't book in time to get a suite but the hotel already thought ahead and made sure that we were in rooms next to each other so that by the time we arrived at 8p.m. (without any forward communication, room was booked through expedia) we could unpack our things for the night and even squeeze in a quick trip to a local restaurant (with good advice from the reception).

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

Check with Expedia and make sure that they are marketing your rooms correctly. I booked what I thought were rooms with two doubles. It was marketed as either a king size bed or two double beds. I got one room with a kingsize bed and one room with two double beds. I probably should have expected that but it was a little confusing.
