POSITIVE:

My mom and I spent 4 nights there while exploring Cape Cod. The Sandwich Inn & Suites is a beautiful, cozy property and we loved staying there. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. It's very quiet, close to nature and Sandwich is a beautiful historic small town with lovely beaches. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

NEGATIVE:

There are not a lot of options for breakfast, but they mention that in their hotel description, so it wasn't really a surprise. If you're looking to get a bigger breakfast, there are plenty of options in Sandwich. The property also has a pool which is currently closed, hopefully they will re-open it soon!

POSITIVE:

The size of the place was great. We enjoyed having a living space/TV Room with table and chairs in a separate room from the bedroom. We loved the close proximity to everything, especially the beach. It's a nice quiet area. The breakfast was great but I recommend adding yogurt.

NEGATIVE:

One of the large windows in our bedroom was missing a shade so there was no way to keep out the light. I'm a light sleeper so this was a problem in the early morning. The mattress was too soft.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

Nice hotel with renovations, it shows that management takes pride in their lodging & renovations.

However the quality is not consistent. Doors are not sealed against outdoor elements. Our bedroom was missing a window roller shade, making it difficult to sleep in the morning with bright sun. Heat came on while AC was running. Bathroom sink drain was slow. Hot water heater stopped working as we were getting ready to go out to dinner. I suggest adding more fruit to breakfast options that is "portable" such as oranges, bananas, apples.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

WE WANT YOU TO BE AWARE OUR ARRIVAL EXPERIENCE WAS THREATENED BY A TELEPHONE MESSAGE FROM YOUR OFFICE TO OUR HOME,(HAVING BEEN RECEIVED BY US WHEN WE RETURNED HOME THE NIGHT PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL LATER THAN YOUR OFFICE WAS OPEN).

ON THAT MESSAGE WE WERE TOLD (THE CREDIT CARD YOU HAD ON FILE HAD EXPIRED WHICH WE KNEW BECAUSE WE HADN'T BEEN THERE IN SOME TIME) BUT HAD PREVIOUSLY GIVEN OUR NEW CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO THE PERSON WHO HAD TAKEN OUR RESERVATION INFO INITIALLY AND ALSO EMAILED A CONFIRMATION TO US..

WE WERE GRATEFUL FOR THE PERSON WHO DELIVERED THAT MESSAGE iN A VERY SWEET VOICE BUT THIS PART OF THE MESSAGE WAS WHAT THREATENED OUR ARRIVAL. WE WERE ASKED TO PLEASE CONTACT THE FRONT DESK IMMEDIATELY OR FIRST THING IN THE MORNING TO GIVE THE NEW INFORMATION BECAUSE A CREDIT CARD WAS REQUIRED TO BE CHARGED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND WHOMEVER IT WAS DID NOT WANT THE MANAGER TO COME IN THE NEXT MORNING AND AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL OUR RESERVATION BECAUSE THEY HAD NO CARD TO CHARGE TO KEEP THAT RESERVATION.

WE FEEL VERY FORTUNATE THAT WE WERE NOT SOMEWHERE ELSE ON A TRIP AND ALTHOUGH ARRIVING HOME LATER THAN THE OFFICE WAS OPEN, IMMEDIATELY LEFT A MESSAGE TO BE CALLED FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.

THE PERSON ON DUTY THAT MORNING WAS ALSO VERY SWEET ON THE PHONE WHEN SHE MADE THE CALL AND WE ONCE AGAIN GAVE THE NEW CARD INFORMATION,

THE MESSAGE TO US DID LEAVE US WITH AN UNEASY FEELING AS WE WERE GOING TO BED THE PREVIOUS NIGHT, NOT KNOWING IF OUR MESSAGE WOULD BE RECEIVED IN TIME.

ESPECIALLY BECAUSE WE HAD STAYED THERE PREVIOUSLY, WE DO BELIEVE THIS COULD HAVE BEEN HANDLED DIFFERENTLY AND THE ROOM HELD UNTIL OUR ARRIVAL. WE ARE HAPPY THAT WE WERE AT HOME THAT EVENING FOR SURE TO AT LEAST GET A MESSAGE TO YOUR OFFICE THEN. HOWEVER AS WE ARE SENDING THIS TO YOU, WE ARE NOW WONDERING WHERE THE INFORMATION IS THAT THE PERSON WE SPOKE TO WHEN WE BOOKED IT TOOK DOWN.

 WOULD TRULY APPOTHER SUGGESTIONS:

PERHAPS HOLDING A ROOM FOR PREVIOUS GUESTS IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR AGAIN.
