What all roadside Cape motels should aspire to be. Beautifully redone rooms, modernist country chic may be the best way to describe the design... white beadboard walls, cotton duvets instead of the dreaded polyester bedspreads, wood floors, no dubious carpeting. Simple but beautifully presented continental plus breakfast included in a cute breakfast space. Testimony for what a great value this place is is the fact that it was nearly full on a 2 degree dead of January Saturday night. My only critique would be of the heavy scent of either air freshener (for which there was no need - everything was immaculately clean) or some scented cleaning products which triggered my allergies somewhat. Perhaps a little more restraint with this is indicated. Staff genuinely friendly and efficient. It is what it is, a small mid-century Cape motel with low ceilings (NBA players would struggle) but boy have the owners made it the very best it can be, a really comfortable place. If the snowbanks were a little lower, it is within walking distance to one pub/restaurant down the road, the British Beer Company, would be great for the summer when traffic is heavy and you just want to be able to amble out somewhere for dinner or drinks. Cheers.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

We loved the atmosphere and comfort of the room. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. Our only comment which we are sorry we did not mention while we were there, was that the hot water in the sink took over 3 minutes to get close to warm. We thought it may have been a result of the cold temperatures outside and taking longer to heat up. It just made a chilly ending to going to the bathroom or a few minutes to stand while waiting for water to get warm. We would still return again. :)

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:

I love my food hot so if there was a microwave in the breakfast area I would have loved to heat the eggs or made my coffee hotter. Still very nice breakfast. Thank you.

ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK:

This was our second stay and we'll stay again because our daughter lives in Sandwich. We love the clean room, the pretty property, the kind staff. Our only complaint was that we could hear every noise in the rooms next to us. We wish there had been some good sound insulation between rooms. We could actually hear the guy snoring next door! And fighting on New Year's morning. But that won't keep us away. We love staying with you.

The room was cottage feel (very up to date!), clean and crisp. Definitely recommended to all family and friends that visit. The young girl working the front desk was very friendly as well. Coldest night of the year so far and stayed super cozy!
